Well that's not so much the problem, which is what you'd think. The fuss is that everybody comes up to me an' just gets nosy all the time. What's this like, what's that like. Did it hurt, can you fly, yadda yadda. Worst part is the kids. Kids try to come up and pick up my feathers, and I ain't so good with 'em. Thanks. You mind uh...

[Tommy gestures at the lighter without taking it. Then he wiggles his three fingers demonstratively. He usually just does this over the burner, since lighters are too fiddly now.]

[He makes a face, before it quickly changes into realisation.]

[He's not used to handing lighters to birds with three fingers. He moves over to light the cigarette for him, then lights his own as he moves back and leans against the counter.]
