[It's strange to see himself move like that. He knows for a fact he's never been that graceful in his life. He takes the arm (his arm) and wobbles his way over to the couch, sitting back down gratefully.]

...Dunno how you do it. Never realised it was so hard to move like this, but you make it look so easy.

[Aunamee beams, the kind of smile that lights up his entire face. When he first changed, he locked himself in his apartment for a full week, refusing to let anyone see him until he could manipulate his bones in just the right way. He practiced every hour of every day. He didn't eat. He barely slept.

[His smile fades all at once. His fingers twitch.]

[The word somehow manages to sound capitalized.]

[He's glad Aunamee is happy with what he said, but that smile is just too weird on his own body. Luckily, it seems to fade fast.]

[He fumbles for a moment, before pulling the watch out of his pocket.]

[He pauses halfway through offering the watch, and this is where his eyes would be narrowed slightly in suspicion.]
