[He shrugs, letting his hands fall from the necklace.]
Anyway, thanks. Can't say anyone's ever made me a necklace before.
[He walks past Tommy and into the kitchen, busying himself with putting things away to give himself time to fix the smirk on his face. When he turns around again, it's more of an easy smile; something that he doesn't do very often. Even if Tommy's intentions were to gross him out, he does appreciate it anyway.]
Here, I got you some too. You kinda look like you need one.
[He holds out one of the cigarette packets he bought for Tommy.]

[Tommy grumbles, but he still grudgingly reaches over and plucks the cigarette pack from Boone's hands.]
Thanks. [The half-assed frown on his face melts away, too delighted by the purchase to keep it up. He shakes it, hearing the rattle.] I've been runnin' kinda low. An' I don't really like goin' to the store like this anyway. Makes a bit of a fuss.

You'd think they'd be used to it by now. Long as you're not hurting anyone, don't see why they'd have a problem with you.
[Sure, he looks horrifying, but looks aren't everything right?]

[Tommy gestures at the lighter without taking it. Then he wiggles his three fingers demonstratively. He usually just does this over the burner, since lighters are too fiddly now.]

Oh, whoops. Sorry.
[He's not used to handing lighters to birds with three fingers. He moves over to light the cigarette for him, then lights his own as he moves back and leans against the counter.]
Yeah, guess people get curious. Maybe next time stick a sign on your back. "Yeah I can fly, stop picking up my feathers".
