He is completely unaware of Lust's new hired help.]
No need to worry everyone, Dandy's here~
[Much like every single time Dandy does this, no one cares, and the lack of applause causes him to hunch over and grumble all the way to the service counter. ...And then walk behind it, like he just owns the place or something. But this is not before he manages to dig up some coin and slam it down on the desk, his payment for the day, and literally the only reason why anyone puts up with him.
Now it's time to find out if it's worth it.]
no subject
...You're supposed to be on the other side of the counter.
[Being a problem doesn't mean he gets to strut around like he owns the place without Boone saying something, though.]

It was a long walk home, with one wing still too twitchy and painful to fly. The journey up the stairs almost killed him, and he had to take a break on the third floor to catch his breath. But he makes it somehow, and Tommy sags with relief when he finally gets to the the familiar door frame, and fumbles around in his pockets for his key. Wait, actually, no. Shit. Did he lose it? Motherlover, it must've fallen out somewhere. Along with his shitty shades. If Tommy could cry at this point, he probably would.
Fuckin' Christ. What a day.
He slams a fist on the door, ducking his head with a hand over his eyes, and prays that Boone is in.
"Boone?" He calls out, voice completely wrecked. He slumps against the door with a thud. "Are you in? You better be in!"
no subject
The hell happened to you?
[He knows about the hunting that's been going on, but since he hasn't had any urges to hurt anyone he just assumed nobody else did, either. Probably a stupid thing to assume.]

Action!
[Which is why she needs a bit of her special wine to bolster her for the encounter. It has a little extra kick, a calming herb soaked in it. After a few swigs and a comfortable sort of warmness, Lust exits her office and goes looking for the man.]
no subject
Lust finds Boone sweeping the floor in the entrance, mind clearly on something else. Enough that, even with his finely tuned senses, he doesn't notice her until she's close by. He straightens up, frowning slightly, wondering what she wants. He doesn't say anything, but he's stopped sweeping and is watching her, though he doesn't meet her eyes.]

He wondered what exactly he was going to say, and he had for the last few weeks. It still felt very unclear, aside from laying down the facts. That's what he was best at, after all. But he'd hoped he would get lucky enough that he'd never have to actually face emotions.
And yet, here they were. Christmas day, meeting for dinner after dark, Egon holding Boone's gift- not given yet. And crossing under a small bundle of mistletoe in the doorway. Egon looked up, then down, meeting eyes with the bear momentarily. He had to.
"Er- Boone, do you have a mistletoe tradition in the desert?"
no subject
...Ah. His smile falters, a look of realisation crossing his face instead.]
Never done it myself, but... I know what it is.
[He meets Egon's gaze, and his ears twitch nervously. He doesn't know what to do here, it's not a situation he's been placed in before.]

Post-event
[And he'd gotten laid. Simultaneously he was extremely happy about that and had a cold, hard lump of shame in his guts. Because while he was very glad to have slept with Boone, now that his haze has cleared, the werebear's probably has too. So he should apologize.]
[The nephilim arrives at the Lucky 38 wearing a thick scarf and holding a small arrangement of hyacinth and tulips with a card tucked among them, already red-faced and standing very uncomfortably.]
no subject

Valentines
[The bit of demon that had been inserted into his personality made it easier. He wanted to treat them, get Boone away from responsibility and worries for a bit. Just the two of them.]
[So he has a carnation for Boone and a box of chocolate berries, flying up to the windows of the Lucky 38 and knocking.]
Boone, I brought you something. Come outside.

Action | Movie Date
[Or to spend much time dithering over what to wear, and yet Lust had certainly done that before settling on a classic summer dress. It's summer, after all. And really, one ought to put effort in, when one is going out.]
[She waits outside of the Pokemon Center, arriving a bit early to enjoy the evening, Guttle at her feet. He's the only Pokemon she's brought, for a variety of reasons.]
[She hopes Boone enjoys the film...]
no subject
Not that he's sure why looking dumb would have mattered.
He gives Lust and Guttle a wave as he approaches, and Pointy roars at them in greeting.]
Hey. You look nice.

8/22- early event
Peter is probably already wandering around the Lucky 38, eager to explore, but the nephilim brings Janine directly to Boone.
The woman is recognizable from Egon's section of the tunnels- beautiful, slight, and obviously not here to take bullshit from anyone. She is also absolutely on Egon's arm after being apart for so long, clinging to him like they're a pair of young lovers. He just strolls right up to his boyfriend.
"Boone, I'd like you to meet Janine. She was our receptionist back in New York."
no subject
Hey, Janine. I'm Boone. Good to finally meet you.

VR - Action - Nov 11th
[But she's not quite finished. It's her birthday, after all. Another one come and soon to be gone, and the years have started to matter. Time matters. If there's one thing this world has taught her above all others, it's that time matters.]
[When she sees Boone again, she joins him with intent in her steps. None of her Pokemon are with her now.]
I believe I'm becoming ready to head out for the evening. You?
no subject
I'll leave if you are.
[No point in sticking around if the birthday girl is leaving, right? Besides, he's exhausted just from all the people. He thinks for a second, then offers his arm for Lust to take.]

Valentine's Day
[She'd like to, just the once. This day is for the ridiculous, socially constructed ideals of romance.]
[And really, she's been impressed with her man. His emotional expression range is akin to a soft rock, but she's used to that. She likes that - most of the time. And the rare times an attempt is made...it means all the more, for its rarity.]
[Lust has her own something special, as well. But saved, waiting till they've finished dinner and have retired to privacy. Some things require a closed door, wholesome and decent as they may be.]
no subject
He quietly links his fingers with hers as they walk. A little gesture, but something that comes easier than a lot of words.]
